The Mason County Cultural Trails provide an interactive experience for residents and visitors to celebrate our heritage, culture and environment in multiple ways. Utilizing technology, each of the trail stops allows visitors to scan a QR Code with their smartphone or dial a phone number to hear the stories of each stop along the trail.

“Ludington is one of the most charming destinations along Michigan’s western shore. Distinctive shops and restaurants in historic buildings, coupled with attractive green space and a sculpture park, make this town a gem along Lake Michigan. Natural beauty and recreation provide an appealing back drop for this culturally rich community. Residents, government, business and civic groups are working together to ensure the growth and prosperity of this region by celebrating its agricultural heritage, its lumber and maritime history, and entrepreneurial spirit. This community is a strong example of vision, leadership, planning, and “can do” accomplishments.”
