Virtual Girls Rock concert
Virtual Girls Rock concert
April 24, 2021 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Girls Rock is an annual concert celebrating"Girl Power,” featuring local female musicians, singers andartists of all ages. Between performances, local women from various walks oflife tell short stories of outstanding accomplishments, perseverance, overcoming obstacles, activism and their contributions to our local community.
The concert aims to celebrate and empower womenwhile also inspiring others to follow their dreams, set personal goals andpositively impact the local community by their contributions.
While the COVID-19 pandemic forced our organizations tocancel last year’s concert and with the spread of COVID-19 still a concern inour area, as it is across the nation, we have decided it would be best tocelebrate the importance of “Girl Power” with our community by hosting avirtual Girls Rock concert Saturday, April 24.
It’s a cause we feel, strongly, is worth celebrating and weare excited to again be able to focus our energy on planning such an amazingevent.
